KINOKAWA, Wakayama — A 7-year-old cat called Tama has been named a special stationmaster at a railway station here by the local Wakayama Electric Railway.
Two other cats were named deputy stationmasters at the same Kishi Station on the Kishigawa Line in Kinokawa. Stationmaster Tama, wearing a railway cap, and two other cats often welcome passengers at unmanned Kishi Station.
The operator of the shop at the station has been keeping the three cats. Wakayama Electric Railway officials will give cat food to them as a reward for their "work."
This scene from The Cell reminded me of sabrina.jp … a pretty famous site which also serves as an example of a style of "cosplay" in Japan where the wearer dresses up in a full body suit and mask to closely resemble their 2D image.
Officials of Sasebo Women's High School said that they would like to see if applicants have acquired the minimum levels of eating manners by checking their use of chopsticks.
The "chopstick inspections," which include picking up slippery beans, will influence the screening process to a certain degree, officials at the school said.
Described in this thread by kj1980 and demonstrated on this t-shirt , the AT Field is described as: "the section of the skin that is exposed between the mini-skirt and the overknee socks. The ideal ratio should be 4:1:2.5 (length of mini-skirt : absolute territory : length of overknee socks above the knee).
A character that is equipped with such weapon can annihilate vast amounts of brain cells, which can amount to an intense moe~ness that is so destructive that one can overcome one's AT field in less than 0.03 seconds."
There used to be a hilarious clip named Jitensha Otoko (Bicycle-Man) which was a professional spoof of Densha Otoko (Train-Man). Unfortunately it appears the Japanese Broadcaster (FUJI TV?) has been scouting around and you can no longer watch it online - which means I have nothing to show you here.
As mentioned here and further explained here, in response to the growing trend of female otaku there is now a "Maid Cafe" to cater for their tastes. And what would that be? So answer me this, if the girls are dressed as guys and pretending to be guys… is it yaoi or yuri?
Oh btw the cafe is named "80+1". If you don't get the BL reference in that you simply are not trying hard enough.
Strangely these are the only two Reverse Traps I could find (from Mai-Hime and Kino no Tabi). Traps are quite common, but Reverse Traps are a rarity.
