Mineral WaterWow, Japan imports a lot of mineral water. According to the story: in 2005 the import of mineral water was roughly equal to 370 Million Litres, or close to 3 Litres of mineral water per capita. What is wrong with home grown Japanese water?

Learn English Good!

In the spirit of Moetan it's time once again to study English through manga. This particular gem comes from Pixel Martian. I hope they stock it in my local bookstore…

Junior high school girl prostitution blackmail scam

Wednesday, March 15th, 2006

It appears it's now the school girls who are blackmailing the men. This news item reports on the girls facing punishment, although no word if the man will also be punished.

Tentacle Rape

It's no wonder that the Japanese are researching the giant squid, although I think we already knew about the notorious sex life of giant squid (probably NSFW).

Tokyo Panty Trade Faces Regulation

Friday, February 3rd, 2006

I first saw this reported in Mainichi News, but then saw this much more informative article regarding the notorious used panty trade.

To me it seems pretty obvious that such regulation is a double-edged sword. Read the article for a more informed view.

Robot gives nice head

Sunday, January 29th, 2006

Ah I had so much fun writing that headline. Really I did.

Anyway the real story is about a Robot from Asahi beer that can pour a beer for you. Gizmodo named it a "Beer Pouring Robot", but I prefer to call it the "Robot Pouring Beer". It is the Robot that's doing the pouring. I think.

I think this is more a novelty than a commercial device as most beer drinkers would be able to pour their own drinks. Although I can see a niche market in those dodgy cafe's where the waitresses have no clue how to pour a beer and end up giving you more head then actual beer :(.
